If you bought a car in Spain between 2006 and 2013, you may be owed money and not know it.
Between 2015 and 2016, Spain's competition authority, the CNMC, fined 21 car manufacturers, 130 dealers, and 2 consultants for illegally agreeing to fix car prices between them. That is a cartel, and it meant ordinary buyers like you paid more for their cars than they should have. The Supreme Court later confirmed those fines, which opened the door for affected buyers to file claims.
If you bought a car in Spain during those years, you may be entitled to claim back a percentage of what you paid.
Send us an email with the year you bought your car, the dealer who sold it to you, and the date of purchase, to mm@mtcspain.com. We will check whether you can claim a meaningful percentage of your car's purchase price back.
